I think I will use it for my next post. A lot of misconceptions in there.Glen McKayhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01120296462964981195noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-33947698.post-10150607502586481992010-01-05T07:27:40.429-08:002010-01-05T07:27:40.429-08:00Someone sent this to me. I thought I would share it with you:

CAN A MUSLIM BE A GOOD CANADIAN OR AMERICAN?

In light of the murders at Ft. Hood by a Muslim Officer (who had sworn to defend the people, our Constitution and the United States) this article becomes more timely and real than ever.

Can a good Muslim be a good American or Canadian?

I sent that question to a friend who worked in Saudi Arabia for 20 years. The following is his reply:

Theologically - no. Because his allegiance is to Allah, the moon god of Arabia .

Religiously - no. Because no other religion is accepted by his Allah except Islam.

Scripturally - no. Because his allegiance is to the five pillars of Islam and the Quran (Koran).

Geographically - no. Because his allegiance is to Mecca , to which he turns in prayer five times a day.

Socially - no. Because his allegiance to Islam forbids him to make friends with Christians or Jews.

Politically - no. Because he must submit to the mullah (spiritual leaders), who teach annihilation of Israel and Destruction of America, the great Satan.

Domestically - no. Because he is instructed to marry four women and beat and scourge his wife when she disobeys him.

Intellectually - no. Because he cannot accept the American Constitution since it is based on Biblical principles and he believes the Bible to be corrupt.

Philosophically - no. Because Islam, Muhammad, and the Quran do not allow freedom of religion and expression. Democracy and Islam cannot co-exist. Every Muslim government is either dictatorial or autocratic.

Spiritually - no. Because when we declare "one nation under God," the Christian's God is loving and kind, while Allah is NEVER referred to as heavenly father, nor is he ever called love in The Quran's 99 excellent names.

Therefore after much study and deliberation....perhaps we should be very suspicious of ALL MUSLIMS in this country.
They obviously cannot be both "good" Muslims and good Americans or Canadians.

Call it what you wish....it's still the truth.

If you find yourself intellectually in agreement with the above statements, perhaps you will share this with your friends. The more who understand this, the better it will be for our country and our future.

The religious war is bigger than we know or understand!

-------------------------------------

For me as a woman I better understand why young man and boys would brush up their elbows on my chest and say dirty things eventhough I am dressed modestly and did not even make eye contact or smile with them. This was shared with many other married Canadian women expats that I met there. I knew I could not make a fuss when they did. "Infidel" women have no rights. I sound like "Achmed the Dead Terrorist" when I say that. You can check that on YouTube. Nice to see someone local identifying themselves as a Skeptic before all else. If you're interested, perhaps we might combine forces to start a monthly Doha "Skeptics-in-the-Pub" night?

BTW - I was determined to be "the most travelled" attendee at TAM 7 this summer (beating out Rebecca's husband and Richard Saunders).

Jason Hall,
Doha, Qatar
jason.hall@ns.sympatico.ca
+974-556-8073Unknownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09647820808706417021noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-33947698.post-14414437928326512542010-01-03T15:40:24.453-08:002010-01-03T15:40:24.453-08:00You and I are in the same boat! It seems that even when you have a root canal and a crown cavities can get under there and thrive! What??? I was in shock! How can I get cavities under crowns? Apparently it happens often. So now I have to undo the thousands of dollars of expensive dental work and start from scratch. On top of it I react to the freezing material. The adrenaline makes my heart jump. Soooo January is goint to be fun! Then add the sciatica from the 3 herniated discs. I cant tolerate painkillers so my husband left Montreal today to fly back to Doha without me. Can you blame him? Who wants to be in my company. At this point I'm ready to run away from myself! LOL.

Hope your back and teeth feel better soon! :) BTW a friend nurse of mine that works in obstetrics has witnessed Muslim cousins give birth deformed children. Apparently the Canadian government is pretty upset with this practice.A 2 Zhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15210451903434090202noreply@blogger.com
