Wow, it's been 6 weeks or so since I last posted. I was in Canada on my annual vacation so that was 3+ weeks, then I got pretty busy when I returned (also had an issue with my internet browser which decided to crash out on me).
In the meantime a new mall opened, Doha Festival City, in the north of the city. Yes, I went there shortly after it opened. Yes, I have pictures. Unfortunately these were taken over 2 weeks ago and things have changed (for example the Monoprix is now open) but at least the pictures will give you an idea of what's there or soon will be opening.
In 2006 I moved to Qatar and things are not what many people in North America would expect - it is not like how the Middle East is portrayed in the media. I'm also a fan of skepticism and science so wondered how this works here in Qatar. Since I'm here for a while I figured I'd use the time to get to know this country better and with this blog you can learn along with me. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - So what posts have been popular recently . . .
