As anyone who knows me can tell you, I love baseball caps. If I'm not working in the office chances are I'm wearing a cap. This habit started a long time ago, probably when I was in my late teens or early twenties. How often do I wear them? Once, when I was working at the game store in Vancouver I took my cap off for a second and a lady, who had been visiting the store for over a year, exclaimed, "You're not bald!". She assumed I always wore a cap to hide thinning hair. (Nope, I still have nice thick hair. I'm thinking when I'm over 50 I'll have a career as the "after" guy on hair club ads. )
People occasionally ask me how many caps I have since they always see me with different ones. 22 it turns out. Here's my current collection of caps.
In 2006 I moved to Qatar and things are not what many people in North America would expect - it is not like how the Middle East is portrayed in the media. I'm also a fan of skepticism and science so wondered how this works here in Qatar. Since I'm here for a while I figured I'd use the time to get to know this country better and with this blog you can learn along with me. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - So what posts have been popular recently . . .
